2018 Guild Scholarship Competition
For the 2018 Lamplighter Guild, Lamplighter Ministries is offering special scholarships which range from $250-$2,000. A scholarship panel will review submitted entries and offer awards based on content, quality, creativity, and originality. All Guild registrants can submit entries.
To submit a scholarship entry, one must first register for the 2018 Lamplighter Guild and pay the registration fee. Once registered, applicants have until March 31, 2018, to submit entries. Applicants may submit more than one entry; however, they are only eligible to win one scholarship. Send completed entries to email@example.com in a .doc or .pdf format.
$500 Essay Scholarship - awarded to applicants based on merit
Write a 500-1,000-word essay describing how you would change the culture if you had unlimited resources. Explain the process you would need to follow in order to bring about that change.
In your email, please use the subject line “Essay Scholarship: _________ (your name).”
Project Scholarship - awarded to the top five applicants
1st place - $2,000; 2nd place - $1,500; 3rd place - $1,000; 4th place - $500; 5th place - $250
Choose from this list of eligible entry types:
60-second script for audio/video*
2-minute script for audio/video*
5-minute script for video*
32-page children’s story based on
Proverbs 1-9 or any Lamplighter book
–Maximum word count 1,800

Create your entry for the purpose of edification and bringing light into a dark world.
Awarded scholarships can only be used toward tuition for the 2018 Lamplighter Guild.
Lamplighter Ministries becomes the sole owner of each submission and reserves the right to use any entry in part or in full.
Deadline for submissions: March 31, 2018.
