Beecher & Ezra Proch
(Willow City)

Pop-Folk Band

When we first heard about the Lamplighter Guild, we didn't know what to expect, but were honestly so excited to learn more about the entertainment industry from a Christian Perspective.

When we stepped out of the airport in New York, any doubts we may have had about the Guild were immediately blown out of the water. It was truly a life-changing experience. Not only did we learn about writing, directing, acting, music composition, and sound design, but we found out what it looks like practically to have everything you do rooted in Christ. Friendships made at the Lamplighter Guild continue today. It gave us a solid foundation for the years ahead that we would be involved in the arts.

Several opportunities were presented to Ezra to act in films created by Guild alumni. Beecher went on to intern and work for Lamplighter, which led to eventually working as production coordinator on multiple radio dramas with John Fornof and the Lamplighter team. All because the doors opened at the Guild.

If there's one time that we look back on as pivotal to our careers, it is, without a doubt, the Lamplighter Guild.

- Beecher & Ezra Proch

When Beecher and Ezra Proch attended the 2011 Lamplighter Guild, they had recently become involved in the entertainment industry thanks to Ezra being cast in a film called "Seven Days In Utopia". Neither one of them had been pursuing the entertainment field, and when the inaugural Lamplighter Guild was announced, they pounced at the opportunity to study dramatic arts from a Christian perspective.

Fast forward to 2012 when a friend gave Ezra a banjo, and the brothers were asked to perform at a Relay For Life fundraiser. That started the ball rolling, and more and more people asked them to perform at their events. Their two siblings, Asa and Liza, joined the group and suddenly - they had a band!

Beecher, Ezra, Liza, and Asa now Inspire Happy full-time with their band "Willow City" who's goal is to create music that cuts through the negativity and dystopia present in our world today. They are based in Texas, but tour the United States and have performed with artists such as Hollyn, Ellie Holcomb, Josh Wilson, and Asleep At The Wheel. Their album "Willow City" will release in June of 2018.

I address my verses to the king;
My tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe."
