Within the context of mentoring relationships, students will learn to receive instruction/correction so that they can understand the fear of the LORD, enjoy the revelation of His Word, and experience knowledge becoming pleasant to their souls (Proverbs 2:1-10). Classes will focus on a biblical theological understanding of the Scriptures, teaching students how the Bible means and why its originally intended meaning is still the meaning today. Classes will also cover the relationship of the Bible to modern culture and art and the business world.

The life-transforming principles that this program is based on can be found in the Torah, Proverbs 1:23, Proverbs 1-9, Proverbs 22:29, and 2nd Peter 1:1-11:

Proverbs 1:23 "Turn at my reproof and I will pour out my Spirit to you and make known my Words to you."
Proverbs 2:1-10 (summary) "Seek Wisdom more than silver and more than hidden treasure… Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, find the knowledge of God, thus enjoying knowledge becoming pleasant to your soul. Furthermore, Wisdom will guide you and guard you from relationships that seek to lure you and destroy you" (paraphrase Dr. Mark Hamby).
Proverbs 22:29 "Show me a man diligent in his work and he will stand before kings, and not before obscure men."
2nd Peter 1:1-11

"...Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity…”
